As a Registered Support Organization

We are registered with the Immigration Services Agency. Registration No. 26登-013307 (registered 31 March 2026). Our member number at the Food Industry Specified Skilled Worker Council is 3005429.

We provide the statutory support, on an ongoing basis, to Specified Skilled Workers (i) and to the companies that accept them. Consultation and grievances are handled in Japanese, Chinese, English, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.

Accepting organizations in the food sector are expected to work with a council member. For other fields of work, we explain the scope we can take on as a Registered Support Organization after we hear the actual duties.

Job-change support is part of a Registered Support Organization’s duty in limited cases such as workforce reduction. It is not a fee-charging employment placement service.

How we divide the work with a gyoseishoshi

A residence procedure needs both multilingual preparation and a filing by a qualified professional. Preparation of the application and its submission to the Immigration Services Agency are done by a partner gyoseishoshi — a licensed administrative scrivener under Japanese law. MIYAVI Co., Ltd. is not a gyoseishoshi corporation. We provide multilingual consultation, organize and translate documents, and coordinate the procedure from start to finish.

Whether an application is granted, and how long it takes, depends on the case and the season. At the first conversation we explain the steps we can see. We do not promise an outcome.

Before the flight, and after graduation

We keep the timetable for people aiming at a Japanese language school, a vocational college, a university, or a graduate school. We do not decide admission. The school selects. The Immigration Services Agency examines the status.

Where a Certificate of Eligibility or another filing must go to the authority, preparation and submission sit with the partner gyoseishoshi, as with any residence case. We guide, organize, translate, and keep the procedure moving.

After landing, a stay at MIYAVI HOTEL can be the bridge into a longer home. We walk through resident registration, a bank account, a mobile phone, and guidance on permission for activities outside the status.

Permission to engage in activity other than that permitted is issued by the Immigration Services Agency. We explain the conditions written on that permission, including working hours. We do not say that work can start before the permission exists.

Visa and study matters follow this order. Registered support and the hotel move by their own contract and reservation.

Can our company delegate Specified Skilled Worker support to you?

Yes. Accepting companies can delegate the statutory support for Specified Skilled Workers (i). Our registration is 26登-013307. Our Food Industry SSW Council member number is 3005429.

The ten items run continuously, from pre-arrival guidance through the quarterly notifications. Fees depend on headcount and scope, and we quote them after that conversation. We do not publish a price list.

Which languages can we use?

As a Registered Support Organization we handle consultation and grievances in Japanese, Chinese, English, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. Residence and study conversations are coordinated in those same five languages.

Do you file residence applications yourselves?

No. Preparation and submission to the Immigration Services Agency are done by a partner gyoseishoshi. MIYAVI is not a gyoseishoshi corporation. We consult in several languages, organize and translate documents, and coordinate the procedure.

Which statuses do you cover?

Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services, Specified Skilled Worker (i) and (ii), Business Manager, Intra-company Transferee, Dependent, Permanent Resident, and Designated Activities.

The procedures are a Certificate of Eligibility, a change of status, and an extension of the period of stay.

What does study support include? Do you guarantee admission?

For language schools, vocational colleges, universities, and graduate schools we handle school matching and dates, guidance on the Certificate of Eligibility, pre-departure preparation, settling in Tokyo, and the bridge from graduation toward a work status.

We do not guarantee admission, a visa, or a job. The school selects. The Immigration Services Agency decides the status.

When can a student start a part-time job?

Permission to engage in activity other than that permitted is required. We explain the documents for that application. If a filing is needed, the partner gyoseishoshi handles it. We do not say that work can begin before the permission is granted.

How do we book MIYAVI HOTEL, and what are the hours?

Book on Booking.com or Rakuten Travel, or call 080-3910-2020. Check-in is 15:00–21:00. Check-out is until 11:00. The building is non-smoking.

Rooms are double, twin, quadruple, and family. Across the property we can host a group of about twenty guests.

We may miss the check-in window.

Check-in runs until 21:00. If your arrival may shift, call 080-3910-2020 in advance. We do not publish a flat late-arrival fee or a key procedure. Ask on that call.
